You know exactly which ones. The problem lands, something in you goes quiet, and you look up and it is dark outside and you are not tired.
Then there is Wednesday afternoon.
Same job. Same title. Same desk. And you are good at that part too — people have told you so, in writing, in a review you still have somewhere.
It just takes everything you have, and gives none of it back.
You have never said this out loud, because out loud it sounds like complaining about a job you chose and still like.
You are not bad at that part. You are built for the other one — and nobody ever showed you where the line runs.
